ORIGIN: Found in 2015 along road to Guayzimi, Zamora-Chinchipe, Ecuador.

DESCRIPTION: Named based on working name by Marco Jimenez and his son with Dave Skinner Probable hybrid of the very common Costus asplundii of the region with Costus amazonicus. Plant grows to 3 to 4 meters tall, all vegetative parts are hairy, ligule truncate to slightly lobed. Bracts are green, non-appendaged, with fibrous margins. Flowers are pink open-labellum type, including corolla and labellum.
