ORIGIN: This cultivar was grown from a plant found in southern Peru along the Tambopata River.


DESCRIPTION: This form of Costus productus grows to about half a meter tall. It has large silvery grey leaves that glisten in the sunlight. The large red inflorescences with yellow flowers contrast well against the leaves and it makes a nice compact, but showy plant for the garden.
